We would like to invite you to our end of topic celebration. This will take the form of enterprise stalls, where each class has used £30, kindly donated by the School Council to create a product. which they will sell.

As you will be aware, following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the state funeral is scheduled to take place on Monday 19th September. Schools will be closed on this day as this will be a designated bank holiday.
Due to the unprecedented weather conditions for this week where it is set to be extremely hot we need to ensure that the necessary steps are taken to keep our children safe. To do this please can you ensure that;

Following Friday's announcement from Welsh Government that guidelines in schools are not changing until the Easter Holidays we will be continuing with our Covid Risk Assessent and guidance until the end of term. We kindly ask that you continue to follow the guidance we have in school. Should your child test postive for covid they are still required to self-isolate for 5 days and can then return after having two negative tests, 24hours apart.

Learning activities will be put on Seesaw and can be accessed in the usual way. Class teachers will be available via Seesaw 9am - 3pm.
In view of the RED weather warning issued by the MET Office for significant parts of Rhondda Cynon Taf, the Council has directed the closure of all schools tomorrow.
This action has been taken in the interest of public safety. Your child will be provided with remote learning opportunities during this emergency closure day. A public update will be provided by the Council later today.
