School lunches are freshly prepared and cooked in the school kitchens by staff employed by Catering Direct. All pupils are now entitled to a free school meal.
Pupil can order on arrival to their class in the mornings from a choice of hot meals or filled baked potatoes. There is also a choice of dessert. Water and/or milk are available with their meal. The menu has been designed to appeal to pupil while following healthy eating principles as set out by the Local Authority and Welsh Government.
Pupil may bring a packed lunch to school if they prefer, please note all pupils waste from their packed lunches are taken back home. There is also the option for any child to go home for lunch but it is important they do not return until the end of dinner time.
School dinner menus are on display in the canteen, on our notice board outside and a copy can be requested from reception.
